The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" ND Filter is a neutral density filter that reduces exposure by 1+ stop, creating an even darkening across the entire image. This allows filmmakers and photographers to shoot with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than usual, enabling greater control over depth of field and the ability to capture motion with more fluidity. Since it does not affect image color, the filter is also ideal for pairing with other filters. Manufactured with Tiffen’s renowned ColorCore technology, the filter substrate is laminated between two pieces of optical glass and polished to a flatness tolerance of 1/10,000 of an inch, ensuring high precision and image fidelity. Measuring 4 x 5.65" (101.6 x 143.5 mm), this filter is built to meet professional on-set standards.
